      Cecilia M. Wittig, 91, of Hazleton, passed away Saturday at Lehigh Valley Hospital Hazleton. Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Adele (Ankudovich) Skitski and was a member of Saint Pius of Pietrelcina Parish at Transfiguration Church, West Hazleton.

      Earlier in her life, she worked at several Hazleton area factories, including Wright's Knitwear and Tung-Sol Automotive Parts.

      Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, Dale Conrad Wittig, in 2019, and her sisters, Ruth and Dolores.

      Surviving are her daughter, Joan Wittig, Albuquerque, NM; son, Daniel Wittig and wife Gloria, Newtown Square, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

      Her graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 6th, 3 P.M., at Mountain View Cemetery, West Hazleton. The Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12th St., Hazleton, is in charge of the arrangements.
