Obituary
Anne M. Welsh, 93, of Drums, passed away Thursday morning at Mountain City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hazle Twp. Born in McAdoo, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mildred (Laurie) Colecio.
Anne volunteered and collected money and was a donor for St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital for over 30 years. She belonged to Danny Thomas’s St. Jude Society. Anne’s love of St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital and Elvis Presley music and memorabilia were held close to her heart.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, was her husband Donald Welsh in 2006.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 20th, at 10 A.M. in Queen of Heaven Parish at Our Lady of Grace Church, Hazleton. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Drums.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital. -
