Obituary

William F. Simone, 91, of Hazleton, passed away Thursday at the Pavilion at St Luke Village. Born in Milnesville, he was the son of the late Angelo and Catherine (Weigel) Simone and was a member of St. Cyril and Methodius Parish at St. Joseph’s Church.

Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were his sisters Peggy Suravicz and Jean Simone.

Surviving are his wife of 63 years, the former Esther McNelis; daughter Patricia Osborne; son Timothy Simone; and grandchildren Victoria, Krista, and Colleen Osborne.

His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 A.M. in St. Cyril and Methodius Parish at St. Joseph’s Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Covid-19 restrictions will be in place.
