Agnes (Kuklis) Rohrbach, passed away Monday at her home. Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Josephine Kuklis and was a member of Queen of Heaven Parish at Our Lady of Grace Church, Hazleton.
She was a 1966 graduate of Hazle Township High School. She was the president of the former Christian Women Society at Our Lady of Grace Church, and a member of the St. John’s Byzantine Catholic Altar and Rosary Society. Agnes was a member of the Greek Catholic Union and was secretary, athletic director, and fraternal directory for the GCU’s Greater Hazleton Regional Lodge. She was the Greek Catholic Union Fraternalist of the Year of 2019, and Pennsylvania Fraternal Alliance Fraternalist of the Year for 2020. She was a member of the GCU bowling league since 1992 and served as secretary and treasurer of the league.
Agnes enjoys bowling, going to casinos and running bus trips to various shows and casinos and just living life.
She worked for St. John’s Byzantine Catholic Church as the secretary.
Preceding in death, in addition to her mother, was her husband David A. Rohrbach in 2017; mother-in-law Louise Rohrbach; and sister-in-law Cheryl Rohrbach.
Surviving are her sister-in-law Linda Kochinsky and husband David; nephews Gene Culp and David Kochinsky; great niece Hailey Culp; and several cousins also survive.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 2nd, at 10 A.M. in Queen of Heaven Parish at Our Lady of Grace Church. Burial will be in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday morning in the Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12th St., Hazleton, from 8:30-9:30 A.M.
