Obituary
Patricia Ann LaBoda Rodgers, 83, of Mountain Top, passed away late on Friday afternoon, October 2, 2026.
Born in Detroit, Michigan, on November 6, 1942, she was the daughter of Stephen LaBoda and Gloria Heath Conti and spent the last 4 years at Mountain Top Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Edgar William Rodgers, Jr. and her son, Gary Joseph Rodgers, Sr.
Surviving are her sister Cathy, her sons, Richard, Robert, and Daniel, and her daughter, Donna. Along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Patricia was a loving wife, devoted mother, and good friend. She cherished her family and was always giving advice, whether it was wanted or not. Patty, as her closest friends called her, had the biggest heart, always giving of herself, wishing she could always do more.
A viewing will be held Tuesday, October 6th, at Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12th St. Hazleton from 9-10 A.M. with a short service to follow. She will be buried Calvary Cemetery in Drums, next to her husband. -

Patty, you were a wonderful woman with a warm heart. Your caring nature and concern for others was always at the forefront of who you were. I will forever remember your smile, and will cherish the moments and conversations we had. I enjoyed being your nurse and friend. You will be dearly missed. Rest easy Patty.

Condolences to her family. My mom is in the nursing home and we met Patty at a bingo game. Since then, every time I pushed my mom around the halls, we would stop in and talk to her. She was a sweet lady and I am going to miss her dearly.Diane White
