      Josephine Obert, 105, of Hazleton, passed away Friday morning at St. Luke Manor, Hazleton.  Born in Pardeesville, she was the daughter of the late Neil and Maurina (Ruggiero) Obert and was a member of Queen of Heaven Parish at Our Lady of Grace Church, Hazleton.

      She was a garment factory worker for many years. 

      Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her brothers Neil, Mauro, Al, and Pat Obert; sisters Margaret Quick, Agatha Zumar, Angeline Culp, and Susan and Ann Obert.

      Surviving are many nieces and nephews.

      Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 26th, at 10 A.M. in Queen of Heaven Parish at Our Lady of Grace Church. Burial will be in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday morning in the church from 9-10 A.M.

      The Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12th St., Hazleton is in charge of the arrangements.
