      Irene L. Morgan, passed away peacefully Sunday April 26., 2026. Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late John and Lena (DeZagotis) Santore.
       
      Irene loved to “read, travel and listen to popular music”.
       
      Preceding her in death in addition to her parents were her beloved husband Albert P. with whom she was married to for 49 years before his untimely death in 2000. Sisters Marcella, Kathryn, and Elizabeth.
       
      Surviving are her Godchild, niece and caregiver Lynn (Joseph) Calvello, nieces Sandra Repanshek (Robert) and Gloria (Lawrence) Schwartz, one nephew, grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.
       
      A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 4th, at 10 A.M. in Good Shepherd Church, Drums. Entombment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Drums. Relatives and friends may call Monday morning from 9-10 A.M. at the church.
       
      In lieu of flowers donations to St Jude Children’s Hospital or Blue-Chip Farm Animal Refuge, 974 Lockville Rd., Dallas, PA 18612 would be appreciated.
       
      The Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12th St., Hazleton is in charge of the arrangements.
