Obituary
Monica J. McGeady, of California, passed away August 4th. Born June 7, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes (DiSabella) Hospodar.
She attended St. John’s Elementary School, Hazleton, and graduated from St. Gabriel’s High School, Hazleton. She was employed by Yannuzzi Incorporated and then later by Pachence Insurance. In the 1980’s she moved to California with her husband and held several administrative positions in several businesses.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband Thomas; sisters Jo-Ann Yannuzzi, Agnes Sotack and Sandra Liott; and nephew Joseph Yannuzzi Jr.
Surviving are nieces Michelle Sotack Brislin and Kristen Sotack, and Jacine Yannuzzi Sharpless.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 8th, at 10 A.M. in Annunciation Parish at St. Gabriel’s Church. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, McAdoo.
The Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home is in charge of the local arrangements. -
