Obituary
Ellen Martuscelli, 97, formerly of Hazleton, passed away Sunday at Forest Hills Rehabilitation Center, Weatherly, where she has been a resident. Born in Weston, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Paulina (Zambotti) Pallaver and was a member of Queen of Heaven Parish at Our Lady of Grace Church, Hazleton.
She worked in the local garment industry and loved to tend to her garden and care for her yard.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband James Martuscelli; son David Martuscelli; sisters Anne Kravitz, Rita Remener, and Sylvia Stegner; and brother Victor Pallaver.
Surviving are her son James Martuscelli; daughter-in-law Mary Jane Martuscelli, Weatherly; sister Elizabeth Michael, Hazleton; and several nieces and nephews.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, November 21st, at 10 A.M. in Queen of Heaven Parish at Our Lady of Grace Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Drums.
The Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12th St., Hazleton is in charge of the arrangements. -
