Obituary
Dora Mahalick, 102, of Hazleton, passed away Tuesday at St. Luke Pavilion, Hazleton. Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Marian (Papada) Cusatis and was a member of Queen of Heaven Parish at Our Lady of Grace Church, Hazleton.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her first husband Eugene Martini; her second husband Joseph Mahalick; son-in-law Michael Gombeda; and brother Dominic “Chubby” Cusatis and his wife Dolores.
Surviving are her children Jean Gombeda, Hazleton, Robert Martini and wife Marlene, Hazle Twp., and Doreen Mathuse and husband Robert, Hazleton; grandchildren Michael Gombeda Jr. and wife Joelle, Justin Mathuse and wife Geneva, and Ryan Martini and fiance Kayla Snyder; great grandchildren Gianna and Michael Gombeda, Mackenzie Mathuse and Cayden Martini; brother Angelo Cusatis and wife Anella, Sugarloaf; and nieces and nephews.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 23rd, at 10 A.M. in Queen of Heaven Parish at Our Lady of Grace Church. Burial will be in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday morning in the Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12th St., Hazleton from 8:30-9:30 A.M. -
