      Helen (Nellie) Hornack, 93, formerly of Hazleton, passed away May 5th in Sebring, FL.  Born in Freeland, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Catherine (Fierro) Stigliano.

      Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband Carl Hornack; daughter-in-law Priscilla Hornack; brothers Steven and Carmen Stigliano; sisters Catherine Balderi, Victoria Fendrick, Jane Barna.

      Surviving are her sons Thomas Hornack, FL; Richard Hornack and wife Ann Marie, GA; grandchildren Charles, Michael, and Jonathan; brother Nicholas Stigliano, Pardeesville; and several nieces and nephews.

      Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 13th, at 10 A.M. in Good Shepherd Church, Drums,  Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

      The Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12th St., Hazleton is in charge of the arrangements.

      My sincerest condolences for your loss.  Nellie was a sweetheart of a person, always sharing a smile and giving a compliment.
