      Leonard R. Gottstein, 87, of Nuremburg, passed away Sunday night at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton.  Born in Beaver Twp., he was the son of the late Raymond and Goldie (Frey) Gottstein and was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Weston.
      He was an Army Veteran.  He was self-employed for 38 years in the home improvement business.  He was the past president of Twin County Lions and on May 18, 2019 received the 50 years award.  He also received the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award.
      Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were his sisters Marie Hartley and Julia Kaszmetski.
      Surviving are his wife of 66 years, the former Alice Flaim; sons Leonard Gottstein, Middletown, OH, and Thomas Gottstein and wife Mary, Drums; grandchildren Taylor Reddy, Connor, Jordan, Thomas, Michael, Mary Kate, Sarah, and Allison Gottstein; great grandchildren Delilah and Ruby Gottstein, and Owen and Finn Reddy; brother Walter Gottstein and wife Sharon, Mainville; sister Josephine Keyser, Bloomsburg; and nieces and nephews.
      His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 20th, at 10 A.M. in Sacred Heart Church, Weston.  Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Weston.  The family will receive friends on Friday morning in the church from 9-10 A.M.
      The Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12th St., Hazleton, is in charge of the arrangements.
