William “Bill” E. Fallon, 79, of Tresckow, passed away unexpectedly Saturday at his home. Born in Jeanesville, he was the son of the late James and Anna (Letcher) Fallon and was a member of Holy Rosary Church, Hazleton.
He was a 1962 graduate of Hazle Twp, and worked at White Cap until retirement as a lithographer. He was a director of Tresckow Hosey and a member of YMPA and various other organizations.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were his wife, the love of his life and best friend, the former Alvera Demartz, in 2021, married nearly 57 years; brothers Dinny, Claire, Jack, and James; and sisters Rita, Mary, and Betty.
Surviving are his children Billy and wife Paula, Bridgett Sernak and husband Henry, Dan and wife Lea Ann, and Scott and wife Michelle; grandchildren Vanessa, Justin, Dennis, Shana, Billy, John, Erin, Alex, Jack, Morgan, Daniel, Brianna, Scott, and Shea; great grandchildren Jaxon, Quinn, Logan, Dylan, Colin, Layne, Liam, Ben, Oliver, Paige and Rose; sister Ann Antolick; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 2nd, at 10 A.M. in Holy Rosary Church, Hazleton. Burial will be in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 1st, at the Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12t St., Hazleton, from 5-8 P.M.
