    • Obituary
      David R. Falatovich, 67, of Hazleton, passed away Monday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Steven and Grace (Alexander) Falatovich.

      He was a custodian for the Hazleton Area School District. He loved people and was loved by everyone including his close friends John Kasha, Randy Tombasco, Tony and Mary Gennaro, Joe and Danielle Zola, Guy Hudock, Frank Minneci, Carmine Swirble, Bob Yevak, and Neil and Gina Patel.

      Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were his brothers Michael and John Falatovich.

      Surviving are his wife of 40 years, the former Connie Charette; daughter Tina Seiwell, Mountaintop; son Robert O’Shaughnessy Jr., Drums; grandchildren Billy Zablocki, Brandon Zablocki and his wife Erin, and Cassandra Seiwell; twin brother Stephen Falatovich and his wife Joan, Sugarloaf; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

      His services will be held at the convenience of the family.

      I am very sorry to hear of Dave' passing, a wonderful guy and sincere person. When I would stop at the stop sign in front of his house and he was on the porch, I would pull over and we would talk sometimes for and hour or so. He surely will be missed. God bless Dave and all of his family.
