Obituary
In loving memory of John M. “J.D.” Dolinsky Jr., 70, of Drums, passed away Saturday at his home. Born in Texas, he was the son of the late John and Dolores (Zebelin) Dolinsky Sr.
He retired from PPL as a heavy equipment operator and electrician for over 30 years. He was a jack of all trades and would help anyone that needed it. He had such a beautiful spirit and great sense of humor. Cherished by all that knew him. He was an avid motorcyclist and had a 1971 Super Glide. John loved adventures and travelled to the “4 Corners of the USA” on his Harley motorcycle.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, was his daughter Janine, who was a lifelong resident of St. Joseph’s Center in Scranton.
Surviving are his companion, Deborah Davis; sisters Theresa Kelchaw; extended family Christen Davis; granddaughter Portia, River, and Teagan.
His memorial service will be held at the Butler Township Fire Hall on January 17, 2026. The Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12th St., Hazleton, is in charge of the arrangements. -
