      Mildred Deritis, 95, of Hazle Twp., passed away peacefully Wednesday morning at the home of her daughter where she had been residing.  Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mildred (Panzarella) Clatch and was a member of Queen of Heaven Parish at Our Lady of Grace Church, Hazleton.
       
      She worked in the local garment factory, and was an avid cook and baker and worked for her brother-in-law’s restaurant, Bunny’s Lounge, and before retiring worked at the Hazleton Area School District.
       
      Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband John J. Deritis in 1988; brother Anthony Clatch; and sisters Janet Jurica and Anna Mae Rough.
       
      Surviving are her daughter Paula Mehallo and husband George; loving granddaughter, best friend, and caretaker until the end, Carolyn Mehallo; brother Joseph Clatch and wife Dolores, Pardeesville; sister-in-law Ruth (Anthony) Clatch, Hazleton; and several nieces and nephews.
       
      Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 12th at 10 A.M. in Queen of Heaven Parish at Our Lady of Grace Church.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Drums.  The family will receive friends on Monday morning in the church from 9-10 A.M.
