      Angelo C. DeLorenzo, 79, of Pardeesville, passed away suddenly Friday at his home.  Born in Pardeesville, he was the son of the late Carlo and Grace (Delazio) DeLorenzo and was a member of Good Shepherd Church, Drums.

      He was employed as an electrician throughout the local coal industry. 

      Surviving are his wife of 57 years, the former Linda Fisher; children Carol Yannes and husband Robert, Angelo DeLorenzo Jr., daughter in law Jessica DeLorenzo, and Louis DeLorenzo and wife Kelly; grandchildren Rebecca Samec and husband Hunter, Maggie Yannes and fiance Josh Kmieciak, Santino, Jacob, Lyanie, Mercede, and Nevaeh DeLorenzo; great grandchildren Henry and Olivia Samec; brother Carl DeLorenzo; and several nieces and nephews.

      Family and friends may call Wednesday, March 12th, at Good Shepherd Church from 9-10 A.M. with his Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 10 A.M. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery at the convenience of the family. 

      The Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12th St., Hazleton is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Pardeesville Playground Association.
