Obituary
Ruth Hill Clatch, 85, of Hazle Twp passed away Wednesday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Hazleton. She was born on May 5, 1940, daughter of Donald and Arlene (Watkins) Hill of Lattimer Mines, PA.
She was a member of Lattimer Methodist Church. She was the beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She was a homemaker, her last employment was at the Hazleton Area School District, as a custodial worker.
She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband Anthony Clatch in 1997; daughter-in-law Josetta Clatch; grandsons Walter and Jude Michael; brother Harold Hill.
Surviving are her children Anthony Clatch, Drums, Bonita Tym and husband Dave, Iowa, Nancy Sokolofski and husband Thomas, Zion Grove, and Walter Clatch and wife Judine, Drums; grandchildren Elizabeth, Rebecca, Olivia, Kentleigh, Eden, Celia, Janessa, Marissa, and Antonia; great grandchildren Parker, Elaine, and Joanna; sisters Naomi Grosch, Dorothy Gunlach; brother Carl Hill; brother-in-law Joseph Clatch and wife Dolores; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held on Monday, November 17th, at noon in the Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12th St., Hazleton. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Drums. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 10 A.M. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Lattimer Methodist Church. -
