    • Obituary
      Frank J. Chirico, 66, of Luzerne, passed away April 21st, at Residential Hospice in Wilkes-Barre. Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Frank and Verna (Walker) Chirico.

      He was a graduate of Hazleton High School and was a landscaper for many years. Frank was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and enjoyed fishing.

      Surviving are his sons, Christopher, Ryan, and Tyler and their mother Karen; grandchildren Zoe and Dax Chirico; brothers John Chirico and his wife Pamela, and Nicholas Chirico; sister Teresa Sokolofski and her husband Peter; nephew Joseph Sokolofski; and nieces Amy Bugda and Dominique Chirico.

      A private funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. The Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12
      th St., Hazleton, is in charge of the arrangements.

      We are very sorry to hear of Frank's passing.  He had a big heart and was without a doubt one of the hardest workers that you could find anywhere.  It was a pleasure to have known him and he will certainly be missed.
