    • Obituary
      Anna M. Cessaro, 85, formerly of Vine St., Hazleton, passed away Monday at the home of her daughter. Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Mariano and Maggie (Catrone) Cervasio.

      She worked at Mountain City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hazle Twp., in the Laundry Department. She was a very devout Christian and loved praising and worshipping at her church, Word Family Church. Anna was a very giving, compassionate and loving individual. She enjoyed her family and simply adored her great granddaughter Lucymae. She enjoyed going to the casino and doing word puzzles, and also enjoyed going to Bottlenecks with her family to listen to Dom and Mr. Sax.


      Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband Joseph C. Cessaro in 2003; and brothers Mario and Francis Cervasio.

      Surviving are her daughter Margaret Neiswender and her husband Gary, with whom she resided; grandsons Stephen Joseph Lizbinski II and his wife Amanda, and Kevin Lizbinski and his fiancé Katie Rhoades; great granddaughter Lucymae Aprilia Rhoades Lizbinski; and nieces and nephews.

      Her celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 1
      st, at 11 A.M. in Word Family Church, Harwood Rd., Harwood. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.

      In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Word Family Church, PO Box 306, Hazleton, PA 18201. The Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12
      th St., Hazleton, is in charge of the arrangements.

      So sorry to hear of your mother's passing, I worked with her at Mt. City.  She was always laughing & funny, may she rest in peace & finally be back with your dad. So sorry for your loss Margaret & family.
