Dorothy J. Callavini, 82, passed away surrounded by loved ones on February 10th at the Maple Shade Meadows, Nesquehoning. Born in Lattimer, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Ruth (Lewis) Faust Sr., and was a lifelong member of the Lattimer Methodist Church, where she served as the treasurer of the women’s group, and bi-yearly church rummage sale. Dorothy was a devout Christian, who had unremitting faith.
She was a business owner for D&B Towing. During her lifetime, Dorothy enjoyed bowling, aerobic classes, gardening, and music.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, was her brother Robert Faust.
Surviving are her husband Joseph Callavini; daughter Denise Lesko, VA; son Barry Callavini, Drums; grandchildren Jessie Steibler, Freeland, Jade Steibler, Beaver Meadows, and Nikolas Callavini, Berwick; brother Carl Faust , Hazleton; and several nieces and nephews.
Her funeral service will be held on Saturday , February 25th, at the Joseph A. Moran Funeral Home, 229 W. 12th St, Hazleton, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. -
