My thoughts and prayers go out to you at this most difficult time.  I will always remember the classic parody Dave made for my retirement party, to the song:
"New York, New York".......I have the tape, and have shared it many times with family and friends.  May Dave rest in peace...

      With deepest sympathy,

      Celeste Taterus

So saddened to hear of Dave's passing. Fiercely intelligent, adept at discussing music, literature, politics, art and just about anything else, Dave was truly an original. And beyond that, Dave cared deeply about his students and his community. He will be missed. RIP, dear friend.

I’m so sorry to hear of Davey’s passing.  It was nice connecting with him on Facebook and we were so glad to meet up with him and Rafael for lunch not to long ago when they were in Florida.  Many fond “cousin” memories from days gone by.  Our condolences to Rafael.  RIP Davey.
